Responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the second best student radio station in the country

As the sole paid member of Leeds Student Radio, working with volunteers, much of this role relies on my own initiative to drive change and progress. Such progress can be seen through our uptick in membership numbers and installation of updated equipment.

I manage a cohort of 300 members, and directly manage a team of 19 committee members

Created and launched a mentorship scheme to connect members with industry professionals. Liaising with journalists, presenters and industry professionals to forge new relationships and recruit them into the scheme.

Co-Founder of Girls Night In Leeds

Co-founded the Leeds division of the national anti-spiking campaign

Garnered national media attention including from Lorraine, ITV, BBC, Global, LBC as well as from French media outlet Brut.

Working in collaboration with UN Women UK to deliver a workshop on prevention of spiking.

Within a month our Instagram page @girlsnightinleeds_ has reached over 50K accounts.

Organised a boycott of all pubs and clubs in protest to the rise in spiking.

Contributor to Safe Nightlife summit organised by Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin and MP Alex Sobel.
