As co-head of news for Leeds Student Radio I have implemented a number of new initiatives since taking the role in September 2021. This includes our Instagram page @newslsr, a resource for students to stay up to date with news. Also, our podcast The Latest, a current affairs podcast with topics ranging from political interviews, coverage of events in Leeds and in depth looks at issues effecting students. Already producing 15 episodes since September, I have interviewed a number of high profile MPs including Jess Phillips, Hilary Benn and Alex Sobel.
